Can the same license key be used if we upgrade any Atlassian product to a newer version?

I am using Fisheye + Crucible version 1.6. Can I use the same license key if I want to upgrade to the latest version i.e. 2.7.x?

Hey Aditi,

If your current FishEye and Crucible license is still under active maintenance, then yes there should be no problem for you to use the license after upgrading to FeCru 2.7.x.

Supposedly, there should be no license compatilibility issue in between the mentioned FeCru versions.

Thanks for your reply. But, my maintenance has expired. So, should I renew my maintenance or buy a new license? Which one would be better and more cost effective.
