Adding a GitHub Repository

Question

I am trying to connect FishEye to a GitHub repository.  The GitHub repository seems to have been cloned and indexed properly, but if I try to map fisheye users to committers, nothing shows up in the committers drop down.

If I select the repository and click on the users link instead of users I get a message that says "There are no registered users or active committers in <repository name>"

I have added users in fisheye with the same username as in Github, but where do I add active committers?

What am I missing?

Hi @Stephen Redmond,

According to Changing your user profile - Author Mapping, Fisheye tries to associate its users with repository committers (authors) automatically, based on the committer name or email.

As you have added users in Fisheye with the same username as in GitHub, the association should be happening.

This likely means that something went wrong when Fisheye indexed the repository. So that we can have a closer look at the instance logs, please create a new support request at our support website.
