In case you missed it, last week we announced Bitbucket Data Center 10.2, the latest long-term support (LTS) release, is now available.
Some of the key updates in this release include:
Merge Queues - Merge queues now enable you to streamline how pull requests are merged into active branches. Pull requests can be placed into a queue and are merged in an orderly way after they meet your build requirements. This will help teams ship faster while spending less time on interruptions.
Responsive Mobile UI for pull requests - The pull request page is now responsive on mobile, so you can review, comment on, and approve or decline PRs on the go.
A more complete integration with Jira Cloud - Jira Cloud tickets are now updated with all historical developer information.
For more information on the latest LTS and to see a full overview of features and bug fixes, check out the Bitbucket 10.2 release notes.
Later this year, we will introduce the Bitbucket Hybrid License, giving your teams access to both Bitbucket Data Center and Bitbucket Cloud. With Bitbucket Data Center being excluded from the Data Center End of Life announcement, after 2029 it will be available exclusively through the Bitbucket Hybrid License.
This Bitbucket Hybrid License offers you:
Continued support for Bitbucket Data Center beyond 2029
Greater flexibility to continue using Bitbucket Data Center while accessing the latest Bitbucket Cloud innovations, including AI and Pipelines, under a single license.
One unified license to run Bitbucket Data Center and Bitbucket Cloud side‑by‑side and move workloads to cloud at your own pace.
