My pull request is still open after merging the changes

Hi There,

I have a pull request which is reviewed and code changes are merged to develop branch, But Pull request is still open.

BTW, we use bamboo plan to merge changes. Bamboo task has script that uses git squash merge commands to merge changes from feature branch to develop branch.

This issue is seen inconsistently. I most of the cases after merging the changes pull request will be closed automatically. But some times it still kept open.

Welcome to Atlassian community.

I think the first step to check will be to check the builds logs for both where the pull request is closed and where it is not, are you able to see anything different in the build logs ?
