Can Bamboo not truncate the "Revision" value in the Build Results Summary page?

We just upgraded from Bamboo v3.2 to v4.3 (I know, large leap). One thing that is frustrating our users is that the value to the "Revision" field in the "Build Result Summary" page is cut off. Our revisions are timestamps like "2012/10/11 13:23:20". But in the Web UI, the value shows up as "2012/10...". If you hover over that value, a tooltip says:

"Unable to create URL -- please check your Web Repository configuration"

Users are very annoyed that the web UI trunacates the value. And while they can highlight, copy, and paste the full value, that is uneccessary work.

We haven't written a web repository plugin for our revision control system (a customized system built on top of AccuRev). Will we get the full timestamp listed in the web UI if we do implement that plugin? And if not, is there something else we can do to display the full timestamp in the web UI?

Hi Brent,

You might be facing this bug https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-12043 tht was discovered when using repository browsers. Check if you find any error in the logs to confirm if that is the case.

Thanks for the advice, but I don't think that's it. BAM-12043 refers to a bug using a web repository plugin. My beef is with the default Bamboo UI behavior for plans that don't use a web respository plugin. It obviously has the full revision string since I can copy and paste it, so why did Atlassian put a seemingly-arbitrary character limit when displaying it in the web UI?
