Report Listing all content, across all spaces

Question

Hey Folks,

Sorry if this is a simple and I am just missing it, but my company runs Confluence Server 6.15 and I need to pull a list report of all content, across all spaces in our environment, with the URL to each content piece, as well as the listed/nested space hierarchy.

We preparing to do a large cleanup and I need an overall view to begin working with stakeholders through.

If you're preparing to do a cleanup, I'd recommend having a look at the official Atlassian cleanup guide for Confluence . We discuss various items you can clean up in your instance, methods for tackling them, and list out some marketplace apps that might be of use.

We've added more tools to assist with cleanup efforts in later versions of Confluence - for example, Archiving and Analytics. The guide calls out specific versions you might want to upgrade to or past if you're interested in using these tools in your cleanup efforts. I'd agree with Nic's statement that a blanket report, possibly generated from a SQL query, might be difficult to parse through. Spaces as a whole are an easier place to start, and then specific apps that rate content based on views or "helpfulness" votes might be more impactful when considering cleanup.
