We are trying to migrate to the Atlassian Cloud before our server license renews (don't want to be paying for both) ... Confluence migrated fine, but when I tried to move Jira projects, I got the message: "We are currently updating the migration service" and it is stuck on that.
Anybody else seeing that? Any way to find out when we might be able to finish the Jira migration?
Thanks!
Hi Will,
I've seen that error before when the container-token (used to authenticate you on the cloud) is expired... it could also happen if there was some network issue connecting into the Atlassian Cloud, but most likely its just the container-token.
The easiest way to refresh your authentication token is to create a new migration and click the 'Choose Cloud Site` button (vs picking your existing linked site), then just re-pick your existing site and follow the prompts to get back into the main migration plan flow. This won't invalidate any existing migrations, just refresh your token. Once you are back at the select projects part of the wizard, you should be able to abandon the migration (by clicking the close button at the top) then go back to your previous migration.
Most likely this will fix the problem but do let us and the rest of the community know either way.
IF refreshing the token doesn't fix the problem however then unfortunately you would need to open a support ticket to let someone have a deeper look.
Cheers,
David

Hey !
What kind of migration do you try to achieve? Atlassian just remove the site export way so if you try with this method, it should not work.
Hope this lead you to get more help on this case :)
