Say hello to seamless data movement: Copy Product Data for Confluence is now GA!

Hello Everyone!

My name is Adithya, and I am a product manager in the Copy Product data team. I am excited to share that Copy Product Data for Confluence is now Generally Available to all confluence site administrators!

Now, the Copy Product Data tool for confluence not only allows you to seamlessly and reliably copy spaces from one site to another, within or across organisations, but also enables you to move only those users who are related to the spaces you select. During our Open Beta, we witnessed great adoption, and we’d love to share some numbers about that with you:

  • A total of 307 confluence data copy plans were created in the last month, which is more than 10 plans a day!

  • 99 out of 100 customers who attempted to move data were able to do it successfully, with a whooping 87% of them getting it done in their first try!

If you’re interested in understanding how other customers leverage this capability to supercharge their businesses on the cloud, check out this blog. If this piqued your interests and gave you new ideas on how you can improve your Confluence cloud footprint, head over to admin.atlassian.com and navigate to Settings → Data Management → Copy Product Data to try it out for yourself!

Our team is constantly striving to add new features and solutions that improves your experience on the cloud. As another step in that direction, we are excited to announce that Copy Product Data for Jira Service Management will be available in Open Beta by the end of April 2024.

Happy Copying!

Hello @Marc-Philip Blath , apologies for the delayed response. This feature is currently available only in the cloud for ease of administration and to facilitate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and reorgs. If you think this might be something of great use to you, can you please raise a feature request at https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa and the right team will look into it. Thanks!

@Adithya Ramesh is this a premium only feature. I do not see it on any of my instances.

Hello @Stavros_Rougas_EasyApps this feature is currently available to all org admins, irrespective of their current plan. If you are an org admin, please log in to admin.atlassian.com and navigate to Settings → Data Management → Copy Product Data.

If it is not available there, please send me a mail at aramesh@atlassian.com with your org details, and I'd be happy to investigate. Thanks!
