Help with unlinking an email address

Hello one of my business emails is linked to a gentlemen that no longer works for our company. He and the email do not appear in the admin section for me to unlink/delete. 

It is only when I try to invite the email address to a board that I am using the issue presents. 

So I type in the email address and it shows me the persons name it is linked to. There is no way for me to remove him or the email address that I can see in the settings in my account. 

Does anyone know of a way to remove this email address so I can use it again for my project ?

If you have a Trello account associated with a generic email address (e.g., support@yourcompany.com) and you want to assign it to a new member of your team, then you can first reset the password for that account (details here), and then change the name associated with that account by following the directions here https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/changing-your-public-name/
