Roll call: who works on a distributed team? Because we want to interview you!

As Atlassian continues its transition as a fully distributed workforce, we want to learn from those who have lived this and have wisdom to share.

If your team transitioned from a colocated to distributed team, what were the most important teamwork areas to re-imagine?
What rituals or changes have helped with team cohesion, alignment, inclusivity, and engagement?
What hasn't worked well?

Over Zoom, we'll reflect on what has helped your team via recorded interviews. Not only will this help Atlassian gain more insights, but equally as important, this will also be shared on Atlassian Community so that everyone can learn along with us.

I moved to Sherbrooke, Quebec, in 2016, to enjoy the Canadian countryside.
Working remotely with distributed teams is not something new. It's a challenge that I chose. And I had to be very creative to develop my expertise, have fun with teammates and make a difference for remote clients. Forced me to focus on what is really important and how to inspire people in a very practical.

Simple illustration: It's not just about work, it's also about family, friends and community.
I'm now using the skills I've developed with distributed teams to supporting my church by connecting people and facilitating distant social activities.

Really happy to see this Atlassian initiative.
