Remove issues from next-gen Kanban board

Hi! My team is using a next-gen project, and we've disabled sprints for our board. According to the documentation I found here

issues in the last column (resolution column) will remain on the board for 14 days and then be automatically removed. My question is whether we can customize this so that we can have resolved issues drop from the board sooner?

Thank you for reaching out.

As you can see in the documentation, the Next-gen template was designed for those users who felt overwhelmed by the complexity of JIRA Classic template and requested a simpler option, straight to the point with fewer options of customization.

That being said, it is not possible at this moment to customize the time that the issue will remain in the done column for kanban boards of Next-gen projects. Since we agree that this would be a useful feature, we have created a feature request with our development team to get our customers feedback and get it implemented:

NEXT GEN - Enable/disable/config removal of issues in DONE column 

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

Hello Petter,

Thank you so much for your response and the link to the feature request. I love the simplicity of Next-gen versus Classic, but some additional customization would be fantastic.

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

On next-gen projects, it’s not possible to manually remove issues from the board. As you mentioned, after the tickets are moved to the Done column, it will be automatically archived after 14 days and removed from the board.

Currently, it's not possible to customize the filters for the boards, so we can't add a custom filter to remove the tickets before 14 days.
