Sourcetree 4.0 Painfully Slow and Buggy

I just upgraded to Sourcetree 4.0 on my Mac and it is painfully slow, pretty much unusable.

Also once you change to dark mode you cannot change back to light mode. It just won't change even when you set it specifically to Light Mode

I'm going to see if I can figure out a way to revert back as this new version is not really usable in its current state.

Exactly this. Upgraded to 4.0 and it's so slow I would barely call it usable. Didn't have an issue on the previous version. Also running this on an iMac Pro so not a local issue.
