Latest Sourcetree on mac incredibly slow

Hi guys

About a few days ago sourcetree on mac has become like super slow... Not a pleasant experience.

Any reason for this. Latest Sourcetree and latest macOS.

It's shockingly bad for me since update, and I've tried everything.  Spinning beachball on almost any action for 3-10 seconds.

Way to kill a great product with an awful release.  I'll probably be using some other product or go back to command line by end of day.  How would something this bad make it through any testing process?

On High Sierra 10.13.4, late 2016 MBP, 2.6 ghz i7, 16 gb ram, radeon pro 450.

There aren't any other apps contending for fs resources, or anything along that line, and it just started happening after I updated earlier this week.
