Authentication failed to HTTP remote repository

Windows 10 and SourceTree 2.1.2.5 (just upgraded).  When try to do pull from remote GIT repository, I got the error of "Authentication Failed".  Deletion of password word "Tools" -> "Options" under tab Authentication did help.   SourceTree never asks for user and password.
