We have a lot of groups in Azure AD which should be synced to Atlassian Access. At this moment we have to select each group individually in the Azure integration app, which is a lot of work and can go wrong easily.
In our on-premise JIRA server I had a LDAP search which selected all groups from the OU they were in, is something like this possible for the cloud too? In the tutorial Scoping users or groups to be provisioned with scoping filters in Azure Active Directory - Microsoft Entra | Microsoft Learn a scoping filter is mentioned, but it seems only to be able to create a filter based on a user's attribute and not on a group's attribute. Besides that the document says that the memberOf property can not be used.
Anyone an idea how to do this?
Hi @Gerben Heinen
You can choose to sync all groups in Azure AD using our upcoming AzureAD for nested groups feature. You can sign up here to be notified when it is available.
However, if you are after selecting groups based on an attribute using a filter, that can't be done from Atlassian Access.

Great! Thanks. Is there a manual or other information available how this is going to work?
