Is it possible to use a gitlab commit as a marker in Roadmap ?

Dear team,

I noticed the possibility to manually add "markers" on the roadmap.

As I'm using the Gitlab/Jira plugin, I was wondering if it was possible to add on the roadmap with a simple line each commit over it ?

(User comitting + message as hover would be wonderful :) )

If not do you have a Roadmap with your next features ?

Thanks

Emmanuel

Hi @Emmanuel Aldeguer

Very interesting feature request. You've had my colleagues and I thinking about this, and while I don't propose to put a story on the backlog for this at present I believe it may be possible.

Caveat: the example below is not supported.

Easy Agile Roadmaps uses JIRA Software Board Properties to store the marker information. You may be able to create an integration between Gitlab and JIRA (using Zapier for instance) that creates markers for each commit.

An example Zap (Zapier) to create a marker from a new commit:

Check out the JSON payload which is PUT to that REST endpoint and replicate it in Zapier to create a marker at today's date. The key things to generate are the unique identifyer for the marker and the timestamp (milliseconds since epoch).

Want to give that a try and share your progress?

Thanks Emmanuel, have a great day,

I should miss something, my Jira is hosted by Atlassian, I tried this url but I have issues in the test sample :

I'll check more in details tomorrow and give you an update.
