"Epic" hierarchy

Does Jira Core have Epic hierarchy ( similar to Jira software).  Our custom configuration is dependent on the Epic Hierarchy.  Are there alternatives in case this hierarchy is missing.

No, Core does not have Epic hierarchy.

That is a feature of Jira Software, although you might want to look at Portfolio and Structure, as they can provide more layers.
