Hi,
We have a company managed Jira Work management/project.
We have multiple issue types and I wish to show different prefilled description section depending on selection of issue type.
Wonder if this is possible?
If not, is there any way to achieve this task without any apps.
Regards
Hi @minki kim
Would the pre-filled section be during issue creation, or post-creation?
If post-creation, you could use Automation to populate the Description field based on an issue created trigger.
---
If it's during issue creation - without Apps, you'd need to be using a Company-managed Project, and then you could...
^ This allows you to have customised Description fields at creation, but still use the main system field post-creation :)
---
If either option is of interest, and you'd like more detailed instructions, let us know!

Hi @minki kim
Yes you can. It uses wiki markup though, so the default value would be this...
||Head 1||Head 2||
|Context 1|Context 2|
...but to the user, it would look like a normal table :)

Hi @minki kim , unfortunately, this would not be possible. Maybe consider a custom field with different contexts and default values.

Thank you @Jack Brickey
It is much easy to read all custom field information in single row table format. So I want to put all information in table format and depending on the issue types, the table format column names will change.
Is it possible to populate a table in description section with all completed information in custom fields once requestor creates an issue?
