hello, I am working on a project in Jira work management, I use the forms to create the incidents, can I make a multi-level drop-down menu to enter configured data?
Hi @Johan Quinatoa Km and welcome to the Community!
If your work management project is company managed, you can create a cascading select custom field, add this to the create screen the issue type you are creating and then you will be able to add this to your form, as you can see in this example (product categorization):
The cascade only goes 2 levels deep and must be managed centrally by a Jira administrator. It may however be a step in the right direction already.
Hope this helps!
Hi, I want to do that but i have a trouble. I don`t have the custom field option, that option only appers for jira clound and isn`t apeers for jira work management

It is not necessarily because this is a Jira Work Management project, but because it is a team managed project.
You can enable cascading select if you create a company managed project instead.

I know it is complicated @Johan Quinatoa Km, but you did not create a company managed project. The screenshot you shared is from a team managed project.
Also, you created a software project as you can see in the top left of your second screenshot. Forms are a feature of business (work management) projects.
When you create a project, have a good look at the available templates and how they are organised before you complete the process. In just a few steps, how I created the form from my screenshot, I did the following:

How can we report the top level value from the multi level fields e.g. if the Area field shows Country, State, Province all together. I want to simply list the first level value i.e. 'Country' to allow us visualise the tickets per Country. Thanks

It's not working for me ...
I created a Jira Service Management Project (company managed).
Created a request type
Created a custom field (Drop-Down cascaded), defined values for both two levels
Added this field to the corresponding screen and request type
Now i created a form, added a cascaded drop-down and would like to link it to this Jira custom field.
But it's not listed in the available custom fields.
Any hints?

Hi, @Johan Quinatoa Km !
If you need to create a form with drop-downs, use Smart Jira Forms add-on.
My team developed this plug-in for creating dynamic forms with conditional logic
so that you can adjust one form for different departments/users
