Hi @Maria Dawes ,

  1. You can start from here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/guides/getting-started/introduction#dig-into-specific-features
  2. You need export tickets from other system (aha) into csv file and then preform the import into jira. To import into jira, follow below steps
  • Choose > System.

  • In the Import and Export section, click External System Import and then click CSV.

  • Choose your CSV source file.

  • Leave the Use an existing configuration file option unchecked if you do not have a configuration file or if you want to create a new one. Configuration files specify a mapping between column names in your CSV file's header row and fields in your Jira site. At the end of the CSV import process, Jira will create a configuration file that you can use for subsequent CSV imports.

  • Expand the Advanced section to change the file encoding (UTF-8 by default) and CSV delimiter. If your CSV file uses a separator character other than a comma, specify that character in the CSV Delimiter field.

  • Click Next.

To use Jira Software and access free training, follow these steps -

  • Free Training: Atlassian provides free training resources for Jira Software. You can access these resources on the Atlassian website under the "Training & Certification" section. Look for the "Jira Software" training resources, which may include online courses, webinars & documentation to help you get started with using Jira Software.

  • Converting or Transferring Tasks from Aha to Jira: You can transfer tasks from Aha to Jira by using the Aha! integration with Jira. Aha! offers integration capabilities that allow you to sync data between Aha! and Jira, including transferring tasks, features, and other work items from Aha! to Jira. You can find more information about this integration in the Aha! documentation or support resources.

  • Importing a CSV File: To import a CSV file into Jira Software, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Jira Software instance.
  2. Navigate to the project where you want to import the CSV file.
  3. Click on the "Issues" dropdown menu and select "Import Issues from CSV."
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to upload and map the fields from your CSV file to the corresponding fields in Jira Software.
  5. Once the import is complete, review the imported issues to ensure the data is accurate.

These steps should help you get started with using Jira Software, accessing free training and managing data transfer and import tasks.
