The only option I can find is for removing individual releases

I think this is what works better:

Go to plan settings.

select "Exclusion rules"

there you can exclude (and also include again) releases in bulk.

I don't know if this answers the question.  The question is about releases in a plan.

My timeline shows all the releases of all projects in my plan, where I only want to see a few.

The only two ways I can think of work both one by one.

In Releases I can remove a release including all the issues from the plan. That is what I want, but it works one by one. I would like to do that in bulk.

In the filters of the plan the same. I see al releases per project that is in the plan. If I want to filter out the irrelevant (released already) then I can only do that one by one.

Can you remove releases and the related issues from a plan in bulk?

Hi @tapeesh

Yes you can:

  • Select issues using the checkboxes on the left-hand side
    • You can select "all" using the top checkbox
    • You can also select a group using Shift + Click (top/bottom checkbox)
  • When selecting multiple issues, a Bulk actions box will appear in the title row - select Release from this dropdown
  • Set the New Release to "None"

Note: This only works for Issues within a Single Project at a time, or those that have a cross-Project Release with all relevant Releases within it.
