add a column 'last visited' and by whom to assist in clean up of dashboards

Marijn Plat March 21, 2024

some time into a jira project, there may have been outdated dashboards. In a large project with many people, it is not feasible to ask around if anyone is still using a specific dashboard. It would greatly help in the view of 'all dashboards' to see which of dashboards (owned by yourself) have not been visited recently. This way, you can feel safe to delete/archive it.
Would this be a feature that I can request?
I'm on Jira cloud.

Hi @Marijn Plat

It's not a native feature that I know of, and I couldn't find a feature request for it.

You can make feature requests here though: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa

Thanks Stephen. I'm getting a bit lost there though: as soon as I would like to request this feature I basically get looped back to this Community page. Could you help me navigate to a URL where I can actually request this feature?

Hi @Marijn Plat

You need to be a product admin on a paid plan to make the suggestion to Atlassian support.

Or it indicates on that page you can use the "Give feedback about Jira" option from within Jira also:

  1. In Jira, select the help icon (?) in the top-right
  2. Select the option "Give feedback about Jira"
  3. Provide your feedback here
