Hi All
I have an issue where there is a workflow attached to a page when the page is created -
As the users move through the workflow and tasks and approvals there is a rare situation where the actual workflow disappears and we cannot find a way of getting it back so the person can continue with the task in the workflow to completion.
We cannot reproduce the error at the moment.
Has anyone had this error or issue, as it happens rarely it is very hard to solve.
The only solution is to recreate the page and add the workflow to the new page and then the issue does not arise.
With the issue we have a page that we cannot do anything with as we do not have a workflow so the page is useless.
Any ideas would be great if anyone has come across this
We have workflows that are used to drive processes via Confluences pages - so certain tasks need to be ticked as confirmed and sign offs.
It is these workflows that on rare occasions will disappear then the deployment page is useless as it is mid process and since the workflow is no longer available the tasks cannot be completed - the only solution is to create a new page the connects to the workflow and try again and in most cases this works.
Hopefully that explains this and make it a bit clearer
Thanks for the help and support
Liam

You've tagged this with Jira, but use the word "page". Workflows do not show on Jira "pages" (which are issues), only their transitions are shown on issues, so you can click on them. If you have no transitions listed on an issue, then there are no transitions out of the current status into another one, or you don't have permission to use them.
But, I suspect you mean Confluence, and you are using something like Comala Workflows to provide page workflows. Is that right?
