Will Atlassian Teams be able to be synced with Groups?
We sync Groups (via Atlassian Access) from a dynamic security group in Azure AD to provision use.  Can Atlassian teams be synced based on AAD group queries or even Atlassian Groups in administration?

At the moment there is a possibility to allow people join to teams themselves, which might be helpful but not exactly the same thing.

Hey @Kerli Loopman, if you're still having this question in 2025, Atlassian announced that this will be possible from now on in this release note:

For me, it doesn't work yet although its marked as rollout complete for my instance. I raised a support ticket, maybe anyone who reads this can already make use of the feature.

EDIT: Apparently it's restricted to instances that have at least one Premium Plan for Jira, Confluence, Loom or Compass which explains why we can't use it. Stated here: https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/what-is-a-managed-team/
