Why dont I see the option to create a Task issue in Jira server

I want to create a Issue Type -Task but that is not visible in the drop. Please help.

I see only the above options.

The issue type Task is not associated in this particular project of yours, please talk to your jira admins & they would add it for you. After that you should be able to create tasks as well.
