The Boards dropdown (in the Project Sidebar) is not present, so there is no direct access to the project's board from the project.
I imported a Jira Business Project (Project X) into our Jira Server instance (using Project Configurator), then created a board based on the project (Board X), but the boards dropdown does not appear in the project sidebar.
I have verified that
As a workaround, I have created a Project Link, but I am at a loss as to why the boards link isn't being shown.
Hi Erik,
Change the project type to Software as agile boards are a feature of Jira Software. After changing the project type, the board drop-down menu should appear on the sidebar.
Check out this project types overview: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/jira-applications-and-project-types-overview-938846805.html
My whole team, including me, as the admin, have lost Board views, even though our project is set to "Software." We could see the board yesterday, but today we can't.

Hello @Leo Stevens
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Given that this post is almost a year old, and the only people that see additions to posts are the author, responder, and watchers, I recommend that you start a brand new Question post of your own in the Jira Questions forum. That will result in your question showing up as Unanswered and closer to the top of the list. You will get more attention to it by doing so.
Also, can you please provide a screen image of the entire left-side panel that you are seeing? And let us know if the project is Company Managed or Team Managed.
