I recently started using Asana for project management to manage stories, but I'm not entirely satisfied with its features and find it difficult to operate. A friend from the USA suggested trying Jira story templates, which are free. However, neither of us has used Jira before, and she's basing her suggestion on rankings and reviews. I'm unsure if it's the right choice, so I'm looking for feedback from someone who has experience using Jira story templates.
I agree that Jira is better for managing stories effectively, although there's a lot to like about Asana for general project management and task management. From a purely visual/interactive perspective I like the Asana interface more as a content marketer. But if I were a developer, I'd want to be working in Jira. You can also connect them both fairly easily if you have a large team that uses both tools. I put together this guide on syncing Asana and Jira with Unito.
Hi Dassy,
Well, the answer is Jira, of course. :-)
Are you handling Stories in a traditional Agile way? Or is there another specific process that you are using that you need feedback for?

I appreciate your suggestion about Jira. I'm actually using Agile methodology, which is a bit easier as I mentioned. However, I don't know much about it and I'm confused. I've read many thoughts on this, but it's still unclear to me. Can you suggest some easy tips for how to handle changes in requirements during a sprint?

Best suggestion is don't allow it. :-) Seriously, if you have specific examples or questions that will be better to provide feedback for vs. general questions.

That's an App from the Marketplace, see the listing here: Issue Templates for Jira Cloud
It is free up to 10 users.

Jira Software is the actual core Atlassian product for Stories - check that out here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
There are Free plans for Jira also - see: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/pricing
And there's a Jira vs Asana comparison page (albeit from 2022) - https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/comparison/jira-vs-asana

Which platform is best for you will depend on your needs for project management - what do you need the platform to do? What are your pain points with Asana?
I'd recommend either getting a Free instance, or starting a trial of Standard/Premium, and trying Jira out to see if it meets your needs as a first step!
