What would be best practice to connect Jira to Salesforce (SFDC) opportunities?

Hello,

 

I would like to map SFDC opportunities (or worst case accounts) to Jira Epics?

I found this plugin but it gives me error when I click "get crm for Jira Cloud"

My ultimate goal is to create product backlog (e.g. Epics) and for each of those map opportunity revenue (upcoming revenue) to assist backlog prioritization.

 

Any thought, suggestions, more than welcome.

If you are open to install a 3rd Party integration tool which can help you sync opportunities to Jira Epics.

Exalate, provides a fully bi-directional synchronization between Salesforce and Jira (among other ITSM systems) that is fully customizable. It is easy to set up and Exalate uses a scripting engine which is based on Groovy scripts where you can control what data you want to share and even you can independently handle the incoming information. You can achieve complex use-cases with ease.

  • Build a custom integration: If you have development resources available, you can build a custom integration between Salesforce and Jira Cloud using their APIs. This will give you more control over the integration and allow you to customize it to your specific needs.
