We want to share our instance of JIRA with a company we are working with. Preferably having a common area on a Microsoft SharePoint 365 area that we could setup.

Hi Michael,

sharing a Jira instance with a partner is a common scenario. Basic considerations like user management, access (VPN or via internet?), security guidelines, permissions and further specific topics must take place - but it is doable.

I am not sure about the Microsoft 365 part. In case you could explain any further what you are aiming to share with the partner using Share Point it could be easier to give a thorough advise.
The first question would be how the integration with Microsoft 365 should be realized. Maybe there are Apps out there - but without a better understanding in which way you are trying to integrate this Cloud solution it will be hard to tell if an App will meet your needs.
