For context, I have admin privileges in our company project. We are currently encountering an issue related to Slack integration, especially my boss and I who have both admin privileges. We are unable to use the "add filters" option in the Slack integration feature.
I am looking to send a ticket to Jira support but unable to find the option for that.
Can anyone help me with this? Where can I find the option to submit a support ticket as someone with admin privileges?
Thanks.
Hi @Mitzi Abner , can you point me to any documentation regarding the "add filters" as it is associated with slack integration? What exactly are you trying to achieve with slack integration? Are you wanting to simply send notifications to a slack channel based on issue create/update in a JWM project or create issues from slack or something else?
Hi Jack, I'm looking to filter slack notifications to only Jira tickets that are marked as "Done".

FWIW, here is some documentation for native integration. There are also several addon apps that enhance to capabilities but unsure if you are using any.

I am currently mobile and not where I can get you a screen but when you go to "manage" the connection and maybe that is where you are saying you cannot apply filters? In any case I can have a look in about 1h. in the meantime, feel free to share a screenshot of what you were seeing.

Actually I did get a screenshot for you. In your slack channel enter "/Jira manage" which should bring up the screen below. From there you should be able to implement as shown. If you do not gain access to this screen then you do not have the necessary permissions.

Hi, here is a screenshot of the error messages I am seeing:
These pop up when I click either of the 2 buttons that I encircled

I am unsure how you got to that screen. Are you trying to connect a slack channel to a Jira project from the slack channel? If you enter "/jira" in a slack channel you should see something like this...

I see, you are coming at it from the Jira side not slack side. Can you attempt from slack?

Hi @Mitzi Abner Welcome to the community!
Click on the "?" in the upper right corner and select Contact Support. Then you can raise the ticket to the team. (Check the screenshot for reference)

Hello Shikha, thanks for the response.
I checked but it seems like that option is not available for me:
Is there anything that I'm missing here that needs to be enabled for this, aside from being assigned as project admin?
Thanks,
Mitzi
