Is there a way to present the Time Spent on issues in your Jira Plan (advanced Roadmaps) as a columns in "Fields"?

The only way I know, is to show the progress in days, and then by hovering over the progress bar you can see the Time Spent, but that is not the way that works for stakeholders. They simply want to see the number of days (hours) spent so far on an issue.

It does mean the data is there but it is not presentable which is frustrating.

Hi again @jeroen_wilmes

Yes indeed - the idea behind advanced roadmaps is planning, not reporting on what has been done. Since it is a forward looking tool, completed issues also disappear from the plan after some time (default 30 days). There is also a limit of - if I am not mistaken - 5.000 issues at max in a plan, which may also become limitative after some time and for cross-project plans.

To report on work done towards stakeholders, it may be better to use other reporting features in Jira (or via reporting tools) better suited for the job.

Hope this helps!
