The new Calendar View in Jira

Ray Gibson August 1, 2024

We run month-long sprints, select work for each month, and have the team will pick up what they want and work on it.

I'd like the work to show up on the sprint calendar view. Is there a way for the tickets to be added to the calendar when the developer starts the work? I know I can add them by setting the due date, but that's of little value as the due date for all tickets will be the end of the month.

Hello, Good day. I would like to know if you have already enabled the view settings as given in the link :  https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/manage-sprints-in-your-calendar/ ?

Hello! Thanks for the help.  Yes, the view settings are configured for my team and I can see the calendar.

Calendar view uses due date primarily. I understand that you want to show the active sprint issues on calender view. For now you can use the "Active sprint" tab.

Thank you... I guess it would be a good feature request then!

Is there an easy way to add the active sprint to the calendar?   Or have it be useful in other ways?  i love the idea of a calendar... just trying to make it work for my team!

Hello, Once the sprint is started it will show the bar on calender view. Attaching screenshot for reference.
