When creating sprints in Scrum boards, sprints are closed automatically according to the dates given, but I want to close them manually. Sometimes the sprint may need to close after a day. That's why I don't want it to shut down automatically.
By default sprints doesn't get closed automatically based on the end date, you need to close them manually. Jira doesn't have this functionality out of the box. I think you must be using some marketplace app or some custom script which is closing the sprints based on the date.
Please take a look at your apps & see where its configured & disable them.
Hope it helps.
Hello @Ezgi Bayındır
You can close sprints by entering the sprint and than clicking the "Complete sprint" button.
I hope this helps.

Hello @Marko Blagus ,
I know this button, but I can use it when I want to close it early. However, I want to close the sprint later than the date I set, but when the deadline of the sprint comes, it closes automatically.
Best,
Ezgi

Hey @Ezgi Bayındır,
Go to "Backlog" and than "Edit sprint" and change the end date.
It will be easier for you because sprint will not be finished and you'll be able to close it manually than.
Hope this helps.

Thank you @Marko Blagus ,
But still this is not that I want. I want sprint to never close automatically.
Best,
Ezgi

Hey @Ezgi Bayındır,
I think that's not possible because "End date" is required field, so that means that your sprint will always close automatically on that date.
Best regards,
Marko Blagus
