Sorting Jira Board Filter

Here is my current board filer:

• project = EAA ORDER BY summary ASC

I want my Kanban Board to display the following:

• Task card above the related Sub-Task card
• Swimlanes to be ordered by Summary ASC

But, the Task card sometimes appears before the SubTask card with this filter.

How can I update the filter so the Tasks cards appear above the SubTask cards?

I do not think you can using JIRA vanilla, the same order apply to all tasks in the filter. You could try to Order By parent ASC first then Summary ASC. Tt's not possible to order by parent field but you could try this workaround. This will probably display issues with subtask first whatever the Summary is. In boards the best way to order tasks is often to use Rank so you can control the order they appear by ordering them yourself.
