Dear Experts,
To apply "Automation" in Jira Work Management, a user must have the role type "Trusted", role "Standard" is not enough. Administrator role in the project is not enough. To me this is not logical because this also gives rights in other Jira products that should not be.
Is there a workaround to allow a project administrator to create their own "Automations" in their project in Jira Work Management?
Best Regards
Daniel
Hello @Daniel Pfeffer
You can allow other users besides full Jira Administrators permission to create automation rules at the project level.
Navigate to
https://<yourJiraURL>/jira/settings/automation#/config
There you should find a checkbox to allow Project Administrators permission to create Automation rules scoped to the a single project for which they have the Administrator role.
Only Jira Administrators will be able to create multiple-project scoped rules.
