Can you use the search bar at the top to dedupe epic feedback external from a project? I am looking for a way to aggregate and dedupe end user feedback for prioritization that will go into backlog prior to development.
The top right corner searches for hits on issue keys, projects, and in the summary and description of all tickets in your instance. So I wouldn't use it as a way to find feedback.
You need something more targeted. Use the issue navigator search with basic or advanced searches instead, where you can target projects and issuetypes and other fields such as the summary for hits.
