We have a unique ask where Person A wants a project where anyone in the company could access it to create tasks for Person A to complete. Some of those tasks might include confidential information, so they want it so that employees can only see/edit the issues that they created.
I like to use the Team-Managed JWM projects because of the streamlined and simplified interface.
I know we can create this in JSM with issue security, but that is a bit more involved to setup for something they want to keep fairly simple.
I thought roles might be useful here, but it looks like roles have specific use, but broad scope permissions.
Could this be achieved using a company managed JWM project?
Yes, you can do this in Jira Work Management, but you have to use issue security and a company managed project. Using different roles would not prevent someone with access to the project to see all issues. Issue security is the only way to do this.
