Restrict Comments and assigning at Resolved status

I am looking for any tips on how to restrict a role from making a Comments or reassigning a jira issue in the Resolved status.

My issue is that I would like to restrict the Users role from making comments or reassigning an issue while it is in the Resolved status. The only option available they would have available to them would be to transition the issue to Reopen.

Any suggestions?

Hi Michelle, 

The easiest way to do this is by using workflow properties to override the project permissions.

You would remove the "can assign issues" and "comment" permissions with a couple of properties.  I'd recommend thinking about blocking "edit" as well!  Force them to reopen if they want to update anything!
