I have created a new Kanban project board in Jira, and want to see what the reporting will look like, however i have no reporting button available either on the board or on the side bar

Hi @[deleted] - Is this a next-gen Kanban project? In next-gen projects, you have to enable the Reports feature to get the reporting button to show up on the side bar. Here's how:
Go to your project.
Select Project settings.
Select Features.
Enable Reports.
