Good afternoon!
Please tell me if our company employees use and fill in the fields: Original estimate and Time Tracking on a regular basis, how can we make good and convenient reports on these fields in Jira Cloud Standard so that managers can track each individual employee, each department, each project, and so on, how can we make a quality report on time tracking and see the employment and workload of each individual employee, for example, for a month, day, week, quarter, and so on?
Thank you!
Hello @Roman Mural
While Jira offers basic time tracking, generating detailed reports across various timeframes (day, week, month) for individual users, departments, and projects can be challenging.
Our team has developed an add-on called Time & Cost Tracker for Jira, designed to enhance time tracking and reporting capabilities within Jira. With recent updates, we've introduced a convenient Time tracker widget while still offering compatibility with Jira Fields for time tracking purposes.
This add-on empowers users to effortlessly generate detailed Time and Cost reports across teams and projects.
Time reports encompass crucial data such as Time logged, Original estimate, assignee, and other customizable Jira Fields, providing comprehensive insights into project progress and resource utilization.
Cost reports within our add-on comprises two main components: Labor costs and Direct expenses. Labor costs are calculated by multiplying reported work logs by each team member's agreed hourly rate, enabling precise monitoring of project expenses. Additionally, Direct expenses allow manual recording of specific payments made within a defined period, providing a holistic view of project finances.
Access the Time & Cost Tracker add-on: Navigate to the Cost Tracker add-on in your apps.
Go to Time Reports to access reports about your time logged and original estimate.
Define Your Report Criteria: Select the desired timeframe, filter by user, sprint, project, or any other criteria.
Generate the Report: Click the "Generate Report" button to view your comprehensive time tracking data presented in a clear and actionable format.

Hi @Roman Mural
If you would be interested in a mktplace app to get this data, you can try the add-on we have developed. You can easily view time entries by multiple resources in a single view. And also add your Jira columns in the report with the ability to export to a CSV as well.
Worklogs Time Tracking & Timesheets
The app allows to filter/Categorize/Group By your worklogs data and a timesheet view too to track individual time spent.

Hi @Roman Mural
If you are looking to learn more about worklog-related reports in Jira, we've just published a pretty detailed article on it in the community today:
I am from another time-tracking app vendor, EverIT (maybe sadly, we are not Polish but Hungarian), and if you are looking to vet different apps for the solution you are looking for, I'd be happy to nominate our Timetracker for your consideration.
Feel free to book a Demo with our team to discuss any questions you might have.

Hi @Roman Mural
you might consider using time-tracking apps that in most cases have a customizable report of tracked time on issues.
I can recommend our Clockwork Automated Time Tracking & Timesheets Pro app, which offers you the possibility to review timesheets and create reports that can be configured in various ways using break-down and filtering options.
Using timesheets, you can create a report that shows the original estimate and the remaining estimate.
Please find below the sample of how the timesheet looks like:

Hello, Gracjan!
Thank you for providing an interesting answer.
Is it possible to track time without plugins and have such nice reports as you showed?
Or does Jira not have such reports out of the box?
Thank you!

Jira does have built-in reports that might be interesting for you, but as far as I remember it is not possible to show the data for each user individually.
You can check and create reports in specific Jira projects>Report tab. It might depend on which project type are you running.
For details, you can refer to this Jira documentation.
Cheers!

I understand, thank you!
Most of the time, we use the company managed type, we work in kanban board or scrum.
I checked out this plugin, really liked it, maybe we'll try it.
Is there a free version of this plugin? Or a trial version, a demo?
Thank you!

Thank you, it's great!
We will try it! We're a big company, NovaPost, you may have heard of it. We are currently studying Jira products, we want to do our business in Jira.
Please tell me if it will be possible to track planned, estimated and spent time on projects and tasks, as well as for each employee separately, for a certain period, month, quarter in this plugin?
Thank you!

By the way, I speak Polish, so I guess you are from Poland?
If it's more convenient for you, we can switch to Polish :)
Thank you!

That's great! Using our Clockwork Timesheet you will be able to create various reports showing tracked time, including original estimates. It can be filtered by users, teams, and projects.
If you have some specific cases to discuss, and you would like to review it live, don't hesitate to schedule the meeting using a link I've shared in my previous message.
Cheers!
