Project Shortcut is not showing in some projects

Hello
when accessing some agile boards the shortcuts on the left side are not displayed in some boards.
The problem is similar to the described in this article: Project Shortcut is not showing in some projects | Jira | Atlassian Documentation
However, the provided solution does not work in Jira 8.20.8
An error
ERROR: column s.SHORTCUT_TYPE does not exist
is returned. The column SHORTCUT_TYPE does not exist (yet) in the provided table
Does anybody know how to solve the problem in Jira 8.20.xx ?
