Problem with Sprint reporting and issue statuses

Hi!

I´m having some problems dealing with sprint reports. The worflow we are currently working on is half scrum, half kanban. Knowing this, my problem occurs when I transition a issue that was completed on a sprint from a "Done" status to an "In Progress" status. (Because of the workflow, we first end an issue in the "Scrum phase" and then we have another cycle in the same workflow from that first "Done" status to a final "Done" status when the "Kanban phase" is finished.)

When I make this transition, automatically the issue disappears from my sprint report.

Do you know why? It happens with or without an issue resolution.

Thanks!

Hello @Santino Lucca Castrataro

Are the statuses that come after the first "Done" excluded from your scrum board? If so, that is why the issue disappears from the sprint report. The sprint report will include only issues that are within the scope of the scrum board.

To keep the issues in the Scrum report you will have to have the issues from the kanban portion of the workflow mapped in your Scrum board. Since the issues are considered "complete" from the perspective of the Scrum process, I advise you to map those kanban-related statuses to the right-most column of your Scrum board.

Does the Kanban process re-use statuses used in the Scrum process? If so, that complicates the problem.
