Hello friends,

I just got an email from a strange email address: noreply+4f52959b7d3a1682adb6ac1d76b58af30b9b6e80508826d9e8073a19@am.atlassian.com

Now, I saw a few threads and some of them say that this is a legitimate address whether others say that this is a phishing email.

In my case, among other things, the emails says: "Your users currently administer 6 products outside the (name of my organization) organization.", and there is a button that says "Review all products".

Is it something that can be trusted, or is it just another phishing attempt ?

Best,

Dmitry

Hi @Dima Ofitserov

I believe the email you received is likely legit.  The reason I believe it is legit is because you are the org admin of an Atlassian organization that currently has Atlassian Access.  This particular topic sounds very much like a feature of the Discover products your users administer.

Also the mention of the specific organization name, that is something that users from outside Atlassian would not be aware of.

If this was a phishing attempt, or a scam, I would be wary of understanding where the links in that email would send you.  When there have been malicious emails sent using our services in the past, they tend to be attempting to direct users towards crypto currencies or external sites or inviting you to an Atlassian Cloud site that you do not recognize.
