On Notications menu (Bell Icon), "Switch to Grouped View" is not available for a certain Jira User

A few users have this dropdown menu available:

But for a certain user, this menu is not available:

Is this a Bug? Or something configurable?

Are these images from the same Jira instance? I ask because in one image in the upper left it says "Jira Software" and in the other is says only "Jira".

Are these Cloud instances or self-hosted (Server/Data Center) instances?

Do the users have access to the same products (Jira Software vs. Jira Core)?

Cloud Instance and same products.

This time it only displayed Jira for my user.

I have not yet discovered any reason for this difference and have not been able to reproduce it in my own Free instance.

If you have a paid subscription to your Cloud product I suggest you have a Jira Administrator open a case directly with Atlassian Support to ask about this. And please share with us here what you learn.
