No possibility to add approver to release version

Hello,

I created a few release versions because I want to keep track of them in our Jira. I can fill out all the fields in the release version except for the field "Approvers". I can't figure out where is the problem. I tried to enter the whole email addresses, names, or nicknames but it looks like the list of possible approvers to add is empty. A person I want to add as approver has an access to the project, but I can't search for them.

Do you have any idea what is missing here? Why I can't add anyone as an approver? 

My release version is still unreleased, but I assume that is not the case.

Hi @Magdalena 

This can be done, but you need to create a new custom user field (single/multiple your choice).

Use this in your workflow if this is needed.

The main approval function is a JSM feature, so the default approvers field is only usable in JSM projects.
