No column customization in Next Gen Kanban?

I have implemented a Kanban board in next Gen environment. I am unable to find how to do any customization of the columns, as well as several other configurations that are possible in the old version. Am I looking in the wrong place, or do they not exist at the moment?

Next-gen projects are very simple compared to Classic ones and there are many features that were not implemented yet and one of them is the Board Settings where we were able to customize the board.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

• Add "Board settings" to next-gen projects
