We have a requirement where we want to create a list in SharePoint with some data points from JIRA (which comes from ServiceNow via Jira-SNow integration) when a automation is triggered manually by the user.

For e.g.: When user triggers Send_to_Sharepoint in JIRA, data points like triggered date, triggered user email/name, customer name, customer email, customer id etc. to be sent to SharePoint. The SharePoint list should be updated every time user triggers the automation.

If the same jira issue is again triggered, it should add a new row to the SharePoint list.

Is this something that can be achieved?

Hi @Arun Unnikrishnan

What have you tried thus far to solve this need?  For example...

  • Have you researched in the Atlassian Marketplace to learn if there is an addon / app to support creating SharePoint lists?
  • Have you checked Microsoft SharePoint documentation for a REST API function which could be called from a rule to create a list?
  • etc.

Kind regards,
Bill
