Manage multiple projects in a single board

Lorenzo Cancelli February 26, 2024

Dear community

I open this thread for help with respect to the topic in this title: Manage multiple projects in a single board

Currently in our Jira we need to open multiple projects and manage the boards of these projects in a single large board where all the tickets within it converge

would you be able to help me with the configuration?

thanks
Lorenzo

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You will need Jira Software to do this, but assuming you have that, the starting point is

  • Run a search for all the issues you want to work with.  This can be as simple as "Project in (ABC, DEF, GHI)". Save the search as a filter.
  • Go to any Jira Software project, and create a new board.  Select "create from saved filter" and choose your filter.

One small note of caution - if a board views a very large number of issues, you will find it becomes unwieldy for your end-users, and can be very slow.
