Looking for advice after failing ACP-620

I have primarily worked with Jira service desk and as a jira administrator for my company I need to get certified for ACP-620. I went through all the training material and familiarized myself with as much content I could in the last 90 days. I scored a 47%, as a company we do not have teams that utilize jira software but would like to in the future for our developers…any advice on passing the second time?

 This was my official breakdown of test results provided ; 

Content Breakdown:

1.0  Project Creation: 50%
2.0  Board Configuration: 33%
3.0  Managing Projects: 50%
4.0  Automation: 88%
5.0  Reporting: 33%

I am soon taking my ACP-120. I head both are hard. I would really focus on Reporting and JQL as those are very big in all the test. 

I been doing this for sometime and work in all Atlassian mediums. I would also suggest to open a Software project in cloud company managed and team managed and configure them with best practice. 
Knowing how boards work is very important and help you when you start to add dev team to Jira. 
If you are using Atlasssian University go over the practice and module again. They point out a lot of good advice of what to focus on. Get a test environment or make test project to get better in your skills. 

This are not easy test and rest assure you will get it next time. I have failed them in the past also and I just keep studying. Focus on your low % in your break down. Very import JQL and reporting are big. 
Another thing is maybe study for your ACP-400 as that is JSM related and then try for the ACP-620

Here is my plan that helped me score more than 90% in the ACP-620:

• Jira Software Premium Cloud instance to Practice
• Practice exams with outstanding explanations and repeat them until you get more than 95%
• Review the ACP-620 Exam topics
• Search the community and get help if needed

Hi,

If you have the official online training from atlassian, it's very important to read and understand perfectly also the information they provide in the links. Those links provided in the documentation are not just for reference, you need to understand them. they are key.

Also, you have to follow the lab exercises and use the lab platform to do your own testing.

it's very important to do the practice questions that comes with the official online training. My advice is to do several times and understant very well why an option is true or false.
