What is the scenario where we cannot link issues under the same project even if we have link issues permission ?

Hi @nagpo91 welcome to the Atlassian Community!

  1. Issue linking must be enabled site-wide.
  2. You must have the 'Link Issues' issue permission in the permission scheme associated with the project.
  3. The field 'Linked Issues' is present on the screen
  4. The field 'Linked Issues" cannot be hidden by the field configuration
  5. Both inward and outward description of your link type must be filled out.

@nagpo91 Welcome to the Atlassian community

Can you share the steps that you are taking and what is not working?  What are the issue types that you are trying to link?
